Holiday craft and cook books from your Tampa library

It's the most wonderful time of the year! There are so many things going on right now, and my life is so busy. I bet yours is too. Tomorrow at my library I'm hosting Green Screen Holiday Cards.

You can bring the whole family and have a holiday picture taken in front of the green screen. You can pick from a variety of fun, festive backgrounds, like the one I posted above!
Hint....don't wear green!

Can you believe that Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is nearly upon us (if you're looking for kids books for Thanksgiving, click HERE for my favorites), and then it will be Christmas, quickly followed by the New Year.

When I think about Christmas gifts, I get overwhelmed. I really do enjoy making gifts for friends and family, but I can't just think of the crafts on my own. I need books. I need classes. Lucky for me, my local libraries have just what I'm looking for. Staff did a great job putting together book lists that link directly to our online catalog, so all you have to do is click and see if the item is available at your favorite library. If it's not, place a hold and have it transferred.

Here are the links to some of our favorite holiday craft and cook books!

For adults

For kids

Right off the bat I put a few books on hold. These books, they called me.....

I have really been enjoying crafting lately, and these books look like they will be full of great inspiration!

What is your favorite holiday DIY??
