Most pet parents agreed that feeding their pet organic food was very important. But more than half did not. On a recent visit to my local PetSmart, I noticed that an entire end cap was devoted to the Castor and Pollux Organix dog food. I knew I was going to buy Matthew one of their bags of dry food, but I wasn't sure which one. I put them all out on display and tried to decide (with the help of Ella and Ronin) which one Matthew would enjoy the most. Ella wanted to get the bag on the left because it had a Husky on the bag, and she loves Husky dogs! Ronin and I both agreed that Matthew would be best served by the Large Breed Dog Food, so that's the one we bought! We also picked up a few cans of food. He was super excited to try out his new food! So we didn't waste any time in getting some in his belly! And let me tell you...HE LOVED IT! We LOVED that Matthew loved this food so much, and I can totally tell a difference in his overall coat and um....doggy waste. He stools are much less stinky, they are more firm, and the are actually SMALLER than when he eats non-organic food. Even my husband noticed a difference, which says a lot. #OrganicPet Food Survey Results

I am being compensated for helping spread the word about ORGANIX, but MetamorFit only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. Castor & Pollux Pet Works is not responsible for the content of this article.  Last month I asked my readers their thoughts on organic pet food. Many of you even took the survey I had posted. Thank you!! After compiling all of the data, the results of the survey are here! I think the results that surprised me the most were that over 50% of pet parents surveyed responded that organic food is a MUST or Very Important for the kids, and/or their fur-kids, yet only 34% ALWAYS feed organic. I know for MY family, organic food is super important, but it's also much more expensive. And currently we're living on only one income. However, as I get prepared to return to work full-time outside the home, our disposable income is going to increase exponentially which means that affording organic food will no longer have to be only a luxury. And that includes organic dog food, made with love in the US. A 25 pound bag of organic dog food for Matthew costs over $50.00. And while  he's 100% worth it, I must be honest. Feeding my Irish Triplets high quality organic food takes precedent over feeding Matthew organic dog food. I know. Bad dog mama. But I'm doing the best that I can. I wish I didn't have to make the choice, and thankfully once my paychecks start rolling in, I won't have to. But in my defense, the #TampaTrio feed Matthew a lot of table scraps, so he's getting organic food in that way, too. I've been working with Castor & Pollux for a while now, and without a doubt this is the BEST food Matthew has ever had. Organic, free-range chicken is the #1 ingredient in the ORGANIX Dog food. And they they add organic brown rice, fresh organic fruit and vegetable purees, and the #bigyellowdog gobbles it down. HE LOVES IT.
